The noise from the road did disrupt the tranquility a bit. the staff remained attentive and helpful throughout the stay. The room was spacious and well-maintained, making for a comfortable night despite the minor disturbances.

The bathroom had a damp smell, and the shower was poorly adjustable, resulting in an uncomfortable experience. It was disappointing to find the restaurant closed for maintenance, especially since we were traveling with a young child and had expected onsite dining.

The dining experience was particularly disappointing. waiting 40 minutes for a bland roast dinner that included overcooked Yorkshire puddings left us feeling shortchanged—especially for the price we paid. the aesthetic felt outdated, with dark wooden fixtures that created an uninviting atmosphere.

my previous stay in the city was nice, but the waterloo really exceeded my expectations this time. the room was spacious and very comfy, and i got a great rest after a long day. it was perfect for our family wedding visit!
